Chamber of Commerce Weihai Aviation Repair Service and Seafarer Training Base Unveiled

On October 12th, with a clear autumn sky and a bountiful harvest in sight, Weihai Changtai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. unveiled its cooperation project with Zhoushan Archipelago New Area Petrochemical Shipping Chamber of Commerce and Weihai Vocational College Haida Navigation College - the Chamber of Commerce's "Navigation Service Base" at Weihai Changtai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and the "Seafarer Training Base" at Weihai Vocational College Haida Navigation College.

The unveiling ceremony was held at the Maritime College of Weihai Vocational College. Li Shufeng, the assistant dean of the hospital, presided over the unveiling ceremony. Chen Liangke, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Zhoushan Haiguang Shipping Co., Ltd., Liang Xiaogang, Founder of Weihai Changtai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., and Liu Baogang, Dean of the Maritime College of Weihai Vocational College, unveiled the "Navigation Repair Service Base" and "Seafarer Training Base" respectively. And they successively introduced their respective situations and delivered enthusiastic speeches.

Chen Liangke said that in July of this year, Liang Xiaogang, founder of Weihai Changtai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., and Gao Kuijing, general manager, and their delegation visited the Chamber of Commerce and held business exchange meetings with chamber leaders and some shipowner representatives. Both parties have reached a cooperation intention on on-site ship maintenance and services under the Chamber of Commerce. Based on the principles of win-win cooperation, mutual benefit, and reasonable fees, the Chamber of Commerce has negotiated to establish a "Zhoushan Archipelago New Area Petrochemical Shipping Chamber of Commerce Navigation Service Base" at Weihai Changtai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., providing maintenance and navigation services for ships under the Chamber of Commerce passing through the northern route. Later, with the strong recommendation of our company, the Chamber of Commerce reached an agreement with Weihai Vocational College Haida Navigation College to establish a Chamber of Commerce seafarer training base at the college. Intended to address the overall quality improvement of seafarers in shipping companies under the Chamber of Commerce and alleviate the training shortage of local seafarers.
